Newsy Chicago Studios – Broadcast News Set Fabrication

Ravenswood Studio fabricated and installed 100% of the broadcast news sets for the beautifully designed Newsy Chicago Studios. The project scope included:
- Custom milled studio cladding and panels with sound insulation
- Large logo lightboxes with welded aluminum frames, RGBW LED lighting with DMX controls, and Lexan facing with light diffusers
- Main news desks made from solid surface materials, aluminum framing, and LED lighting
- Portable free-standing decorative metal panels with timber slat accents, faux concrete textured finishes, extruded powder-coated aluminum construction with roller glides for panels, and leveling casters
Constructed across several separate newsrooms and public spaces, we love how the custom sound-insulating panels, modular textured metal backdrops, and Newsy logos we built seamlessly integrate into the reporting of their talented news team.
